The Financial Services Council has introduced a range of measures in keeping with industry efforts to reduce the impact the conference has on the environment and to make a contribution to sustainability. We will continue with these initiatives and seek additional ways to improve the environmental and social sustainability of the conference.

• Electronic communication - to reduce the amount of printing generated by the conference. Delegates are encouraged to register on-line and make payment by credit card to eliminate the need for hard copy forms and multiple invoices and receipts. All tax invoices and confirmation material will be sent electronically unless the delegate specifically requests otherwise.
• Printed Material - we will investigate and endeavour to use recycled paper stock and environmentally sensitive inks wherever possible.
• The use of plastic and other artificial materials will be avoided wherever possible. We will be seeking name badge holders, satchels and other supply items that are not only made of natural materials, but have also been produced using sustainable manufacturing techniques.
• A commitment wherever possible to source items such as satchels, for example, from community-based suppliers thus allowing a much greater portion of the purchase price to flow directly to those who made them.
• Conference Waste – recycle bins will be used throughout the conference exhibition areas.
